Backstory:

Aislin Hanlin was an army brat growing up in the shadow of 3 older brothers who each went on to become successful career officers as they followed in their father's footsteps.

So, she joined the navy.

While she showed a great deal of promise, she also showed an equivalent aptitude for getting into trouble. She was labelled wreckless and cocky by her superiors, brilliant by her peers, and trouble by...well, just about everyone.

Aislin's career in the navy came to an abrupt end with a court marital for disobeying a direct order in a combat situation. Fortunately for her, her mentor and friend, Beth McClain, stepped in and spoke on her behalf. Her sentence was commuted, and she was released with a dishonorable discharge.

Personality Traits: Aislin is cocky and outspoken. At times, she acts rashly, seemingly without thinking. However, she genuinely wants to do some good in the world that revolves around her.
