Background:
Little is known about Lara Damon before she came to Paragon City in early 2006. What is known is that she exhibits precision swordsmanship and seems well-trained in hand-to-hand combat.
Shortly after her arrival, Damon bought a bar in Galaxy City that would be considered a dive by most, renovated it, and renamed it the Maverick Tavern. Part of that renovation was paid for with funding recieved from the government after she convinced authorities at city hall that she was establishing it as a base for a super group she would call the Mavericks.
Personality:
Though Lara proports herself as a business woman and leader to the other group leaders in the city, she's a rogue at heart. She has no desire to tell anyone (even her own people) what to do or where to go. She simply wants to be allowed her own space to do her own thing.
She flirts, she fights, she cusses, she plays dirty, she hangs out with pirates and vampires, she drinks (a LOT), she gambles, she does the opposite of what anyone expects her to, and there's a little larceny in her blood (just a little, I swear).
Powers/Abilities/Equipment:
Diamond-blade Longsword: The sword Lara carries is unique in its design. Custom-made for her (she'll tell you it was a gift from a friend offworld), the unbreakable blade will appear slightly translucent in her hand alone, slicing through most anything with lightning efficiency. The guard looks delicate, threading about her hand in a loose lattice-work of spun silver, but is enchanted with some protection for its weilder.
Bracers: The embroidered thick leather bracers that Lara wears carry a very strong protective enchantment and can absorb most any blow she blocks with them.
Regenerative abilities: The source of Lara's regenerative abilities is a mystery ICly (unless you get her to tell you all about it).
